It is our mission to assist you in advising your client about what his building will cost 1. At the earliest stage possible, even at sketch stage, email us the drawings, with their specifications and dimensions, and we will do an estimate of the building. 2. We will also include where we think there could be savings. 3. If your client has a budget, this will allow them to check their budget, or to get more money from the bank. No more ‘I didn’t expect it to cost that much’ and waste everyone’s time and money on tendering! 4. We will do the initial price, then we will reprice the drawing once, and confirm this price on completion – all for only €250.00/£200.00 5. This is definitely not a builder’s quote – we work independently of any builders. 6. We are, however, Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers who would independently price work for builders – so we like to think that we know what we are doing! 7. These budget cost estimates are normally within 5% of the final tendered price. 8. On completion of this estimate we can then do the tender adjudication – since we know the history – you will therefore eliminate your exposure to being accused of any wrongdoing. This will give you total transparency! 9. This estimate will also give transparency to the estimating procedure - by allowing a third party’s involvement – we are not interested who gets the job - there is no bias from us. 10. This estimate will be perfect for submission as the building cost price at planning stage. 11. We can also do the Bills of Quantity for the project (for an added fee) 12. We carry Professional Indemnity Insurance. 13. Save yourself aggravation, save your client money and save the builders wasting time and money on fruitless tenders by getting a qstimate of the building, at an early stage!
